Friends Life Holdings PLC is a subsidiary of Friends Life Group PLC, a leading UK financial services company that offers a range of investment, pension, and insurance products. The Friends Life Group merged with Aviva PLC in March 2015. Aviva is the largest insurer in the UK and has businesses across Europe, Asia and Canada. As at 24 June 2015, Aviva ranked as the 26th largest company on the FTSE with a market cap of GBP20.8bn and was rated A- (stable outlook) and A2 (stable outlook) by Standard and Poor’s and Moody’s respectively.
